I saw a lot of Woody Allen movies in the 1970s. So many that I grew weary of Allen and his neurotic characters.
In recent years, however, I’ve started enjoying his films again. One of them wa
s “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” (2008), with a terrific cast – Penelope Cruz, Scarlett Johansson and Javier Bardem.
Now, at age 75, Allen has made his best movie yet — “Midnight in Paris.” We saw it last night at the Pix. What a delight.
I’ve never been to Paris, but Allen took us there with myriad picturesque scenes at the start of the movie.
